image of Hakob Meghapart Jubilee Medal

The National Library of Armenia awards the 'Hakob Meghapart' Jubilee Medal to people who make significant contributions to Armenian cultural patrimony and the promotion of the printed word. Since its establishment in 1990, the medal has been awarded to some 240 people.

2011 Sparc Europe Award for EIFL Open AccessSPARC Europe Award

SPARC (the Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition) Europe initiated the Award in 2006 to recognize the work of an individual or group within Europe that has made significant advances in our understanding of the issues surrounding scholarly communications and/or in developing practical means to address problems within the current systems. www.sparceurope.org/
