Google Scholar meets local publishers

Google Scholar representatives will be meeting local publishers from Estonia in the last week of September. The meeting will allow discussion on the next steps forward within the framework of the service agreement between eIFL and Google to enable the digitization of journal back files from eIFL member countries. The proposed digitization effort is similar to the Google Print Publisher Program where Google digitizes books provided by publishers, thereby avoiding the
copyright controversies that have surrounded other Google digitization programs.
