As part of the TEMPUS funded SYReLIB one year project where eIFL.net is a partner, librarians Morag Greig and William Nixon from University of Glasgow and Ian Johnson from Robert Gordon University delivered a workshop on Open Access basics and Institutional Repositories at the University of Aleppo, Syria, in December 2007. The local library communities from the University of Aleppo and Al-Baath University attended the workshop.
