Description
The purpose of the DRIVER Wiki is to provide a home for community contributions and to create a dynamic and updatable picture of open access activity. You can read about Open Access in Bulgaria (contributor: Georgi Simeonov, Institute of Mathematics and Informatics at Bulgarian Academy of Sciences), Open Access in Egypt (contributor: Mandy Taha, Library of Alexandria), Open Access in Ethiopia (contributor: Bezunesh Alemu, Addis Ababa University), Open Access in South Africa (contributor's: Ina Smith, Institutional Repository Manager University of Pretoria South Africa, and Susan Veldsman, Director: Scholarly Publishing Programme and Unit Academy of Science of South Africa), and in many other EU countries, Non-EU Europe and worldwide. You can also use the DRIVER Wiki to share information about your open access developments (contact us if you want to add your country or to update information). DRIVER – Digital Repository Infrastructure Vision for European Research – is a multi-phase effort whose vision and primary objective is to establish a cohesive, pan-European infrastructure of Digital Repositories, offering sophisticated functionality services to both researchers and the general public.
