Among the speakers - Alma Swan and Bernard Rentier from EOS, Claire Bundy from Open Repository and Maria Romano from BioMed Central, Jan Andrzej Nikisch and Iryna Kuchma from eIFL.net, Marcin Werla from  Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center and Alek Tarkowski from  the Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computational Modelling at Warsaw University and Creative Commons Poland. Włodzisław Duch shared his experience with open science projects, Jarosław Stolarski presented a case study on the open access journal Acta Palaeontologica Polonica and Jacek Ciesielski presented Versita e-publishing solutions for open access journals, Małgorzata Rychlik and Emilia Karwasińska told about AMUR - open access repository of Adam Mickiewicz university in Poznan and Jarosław Lipszyc presented Coalition for Open Education and promotion of open knowledge in Poland. 

The conference was organised on January 14-15, 2010, by Nicolaus Copernicus University, eIFL.net, OSI Information program, Poznan Foundation of Scientific Libraries, Polish Librarians Assocation and EBIB - Electronic Library and sponsored by BioMed Central and ExLibris.
