Southern African Regional Universities Association (SARUA) will be hosting an Open Access leadership summit in association with the African Access to Knowledge Alliance (AAKA) as part of its longer-term ICT and Open Access Programme for advocacy and action programme. eIFL is sponsoring the participation of three of the best minds and practitioners in open access internationally, Leslie Chan, Alma Swan and Jasper Maenzanise. Susan Veldsman, eIFL Open Access manager, will also give an overview of IRs in Africa and assist with an OA mandate. The programme will be soon available.
