Negotiations with publishers and aggregators

Access to research information traditionally depends on the ability to pay, which has the negative impact on developing countries.

eIFL.net is committed to equitable access to knowledge by negotiating affordable and sustainable access to and fair terms and conditions for electronic resources.

eIFL.net partners with publishers and information providers to:
  • Provide the electronic content that meet the needs of education and research in poor developing countries;
  • Negotiate affordable and fair licensing agreements;
  • Build capacity in licensing and management of electronic resources.

Access to the products of the following publishers and aggregators is available to libraries that are part of eIFL.net consortium. Click on the links below to read about the e-resources and services are available from each content supplier.
