BiblioSHS

BiblioSHS is a portal that has been created on the initiative of the CNRS department SHS (human and social sciences) and developped by INIST-CNRS. It aggregates, indicates and gives access to existing resources, commercial or academic in human and social sciences.

It gives access to:
  • Electronic journals : access to more than 2700 titles of electronic journals through JSTOR, MUSE, ScienceDirect platform, etc.,
  • Databases: access to bibliographic databases, descriptive bulletins, reviews of synopses, etc.

Comments: In general, access is reserved to the CNRS scientific community. For a large majority of journals a password is required for access to full-text. The distinction between open- and toll-access is clearly visible. There are a certain number of other free resources (databases, archives, catalogues, abstracts,...)
