Cairn is a service company proposing the double publication of journals in social sciences: production and distribution paper and electronical, diffusion and promotion.

French-speaking journals, from French and Belgian publishers (De Boeck Université, La Découverte, Belin, Erés, Verdier...) and covering several disciplinary fields of the social sciences.

Any visitor will have free access to the following contents:
  • 1) Bibliographical information:
    • Detailed summary of reviews
    • Summary of articles in several languages
    • Detailed planning of the articles
  • 2) Full text of articles of archives: the articles of the older issues will be freely available in full text. (moving wall principle)
  • 3) Full text of some articles: some of the articles of the current and recent numbers will be also available in free access. The others will be in conditional access (subscription or pay per view).
