SIGNETS is the result of a partnership between ABES (Agence bibliographique de l’enseignement supérieur), CERIMES (Centre de Ressources et d’Information sur les Multimédias pour l’Enseignement Supérieur) and CADIST (Centre d’Acquisition et de Diffusion de l’Information Scientifique et Technique) to create a portal with quality reference material. Reference resources are grouped by scholarly discipline and cover databases, e-journals, links to selected sites, initiatives and societies, bibliographies, glossaries and thesauri, online courses, training and tutorials, chronologies etc, most of them freely available online. Each resource is briefly described, including its Dewey classification, language and type of the resource and corresponding LOM metadata.
