http://indexmedicus.afro.who.int/ African Index Medicus - attempts to make health literature produced in Africa more visible worldwide. The World Health Organization, in partnership with the Association for Health Information and Libraries in Africa (AHILA), has created an international index to Africa literature and information sources in Health disciplines. All medical journals in Africa are eligible to join the initiative in order to promote African publishing. An important number of journals articles are not only indexed but freely available in full text. To a lesser extent, articles on health issues pertaining to Africa but produced elsewhere are also indexed here.
