Biblioteca Virtual Miguel de Cervantes is a Spanish initiative which aims to digitize the bibliographic and documentary heritage from Spain and Latin America. The portal gives free access to catalogs of digitized literary works in Spanish, both historical and contemporary, alongside tvisual and audio archives, facsimile reproductions and digitsed holdings from public and private archives in Spain and Latin America. Besides, these resurces related to Literature and Humanities, the portal gives access to a wide range of theses and dissertations, and articles from journals which deal with scientific and social sciences, including natural Sciences, Medicine, Philosophy, Mathematics, Applied Sciences, Economics, Law, History and Geography, Library Sciences, Fine Arts and many more.
