Oxford Scholarship Online (OSO) is part of the Oxford University Press publications. Described by the Library Journal as “a must-have online resource”, Oxford Scholarship Online is a vast and rapidly-expanding cross-searchable library which now offers quick and easy access to the latest high-level scholarship through the full text of 2,557* Oxford academic monographs.

There are 16 subject areas represented in Oxford Scholarship Online:  Economics and Finance, Philosophy, Political Science, Religion, Biology, Business and Management, Classical Studies, History, Law, Linguistics, Literature, Mathematics, Music, Physics, Psychology and Social Work.

The e-books are in HTML format, fully searchable, ideal for research through a varied range of functions: author-written abstracts and keywords at book and chapter level, citation export software (ProCite, Endnote, Reference Manager, RefWorks), Digital Object Identifiers at book and chapter level, OpenURL compliance, links from bibliographies to other online resources, COUNTER statistics reporting, Marc records.

A third of the titles are front-list publishing which places Oxford Scholarship Online among the largest front-list monographs collections online.

To learn more and to see a full list of books available in OSO, please visit the homepage www.oxfordscholarship.com.

The abstracts and keywords are available free of charge to non-subscribers who visit the Oxford Scholarship Online website, and are also available alongside journal abstracts in a range of online services such as IngentaConnect.
