About the publisher

Based in Washington, DC, the American Psychological Association (APA) is a scientific and professional organization that represents psychology in the United States. APA is the largest international association of psychologists with over 150,000 members worldwide and publishes several preeminent journals in the fields of psychology and behavioral science.

APA is also a leading publisher of books, journals and electronic resources, including 5 databases covering the full scope of international behavioral science research. APA databases cover a wealth of historical content in addition to full coverage of all APA-published journals from Volume 1, Issue 1.

APA offer to eIFL countries and how to subscribe

APA and eIFL signed an agreement that will grant access for a period of 3 years (2009-2011) at great discounts to PsycArticles, a database of full-text articles from 63 journals published by the American Psychological Association, the APA Educational Publishing Foundation, the Canadian Psychological Association, and Hogrefe Publishing Group. KOBSON, Serbian consortium, is the first one to make use of this agreement.

If you are a librarian from one of the eIFL countries and would either like to know how to gain access, please get in touch with your country coordinator.

If you are a country coordinator, the agreement between eIFL and APA can be found at the MEMBERS ONLY area of our website, under "Publishers" section. If you are interested in accessing APA products you should get in touch with the eIFL office.
