The renewed agreement between eIFL and SAGE means that institutions and consortia in eIFL countries can access SAGE Premier for a three year period starting in 2009 until 2011 at greatly discounted rates.

The SAGE Premier deal includes 514 leading international peer-reviewed titles, including high-impact research journals published on behalf of scholarly and professional societies. SAGE journals cover a wide range of subjects areas in the Arts and Humanities, Social and Behavioural Sciences and Scientific, Technical and Medical fields

If you are a librarian from an institution in one of the eIFL countries and would either like to know whether your institution has access to SAGE or how to gain access to them, please get in touch with your country coordinator.

If you are a country coordinator, the agreement between eIFL and SAGE as well as the licenses to fill out for access activation can be found at the MEMBERS ONLY area of our website, under "Publishers" section.

Sage Premier includes:

• Access to 514 SAGE journal titles, comprising over 170,000 full text articles;
• Access via SAGE Journals Online hosted by HighWire;
• Access to the back file of each journal, dating back to 1999;
• COUNTER compliant usage statistics;
• Enhanced seach features;
• CiteTrack email alerts. Track authors, articles or keywords;
• Open URL linking.
