Join us in supporting EIFL and make a donation today. Together we will grow EIFL’s global network and raise the standard of education & living for people around the world.

All donations will go toward programme design and implementation in the 60 developing and transition countries that EIFL works in, in partnership with thousands of libraries. Donations will also allow EIFL to expand these services to many countries that are interested in and will benefit from joining the EIFL family.

EIFL responds to the challenges of libraries in transition and developing countries and the communities that they serve through its two core initiatives: 

• Access to Knowledge for Education, Learning and Research– ensuring well-resourced libraries, modern ICT infrastructure and skilled staff to provide essential support to students and scholars. Addressing the challenges that libraries and their users face in the digital environment is at the heart of EIFL programmes in:
  

   

  • Negotiations and licensing of commercial e-resources (EIFL-Licensing)
  • Open access (EIFL-OA)
  • Copyright for libraries (EIFL-IP)
  • Free and open source software for libraries (EIFL-FOSS)
• Access to Knowledge for Sustainable Livelihoods– helping to transform lives through innovative services in public libraries. EIFL aims to collaborate with public libraries to improve people’s lives and livelihoods through the programme:
