A workshop organised by OpenAIREplus.
OpenAIRE is creating a participatory service for the cross-linking of peer-reviewed research publications and associated datasets. It is recognized however that policies and guidelines have to be in place to support research organisations to manage their research output and data.
This OpenAIREplus workshop is aimed at OpenAIRE National Open Access Desks (NOADs), library managers, researchers, research funders, repository managers, journal editors and publishers, research administrators.
It will provide an overview of OpenAIREplus activities, data management issues and policies. It will offer best-practice approaches, present both a discipline-specific and institutional perspective with regard to policies, as well as an explanation of enhanced publications. An interactive session at the end will enable participants to talk to a range of experts, and get to grips with some data management issues. More information about the workshop and the programme is here.
The workshop is organized as a pre-event to Nordbib conference 2012: Structural frameworks for open, digital research - Strategy, policy & infrastructure, Copenhagen, June 11-13, 2012. The workshop attendance is free of charge (including catering).
