FOSTER (Facilitate Open Science Training for European Research) is offering a course and webinar on how to comply with the Horizon 2020 open access mandate.

Titled ‘Open Access to publications in Horizon 2020’, the course reaches out to researchers and students, project managers, librarians and repository managers who are already taking part in Horizon 2020, or who would like to take part in this major European Union-funded research and innovation programme.

The FOSTER-moderated course runs from 30 November to 4 December, and the webinar takes place on Wednesday, December 2 at 12:00 CET. The hour-long webinar is hosted by EIFL. It adds to the course by giving participants the opportunity to ask questions and deepen their understanding of compliance issues.

The course will cover:

  • The context of the Horizon 2020 open access mandate;
  • Compliance with the Horizon 2020 open access mandate by depositing publications into open access repositories;
  • Re-use of deposited publications in Horizon 2020.
