Brazil tables background paper on libraries at WIPO

The WIPO Standing Committee on Copyright and Related Rights (SCCR), the main body that shapes international copyright law, is dedicating three extra days to libraries and archives. As part of this meeting (SCCR/23), Brazil has tabled a background paper "The Case for a Treaty on Exceptions and Limitations for Libraries and Archives: Background Paper by IFLA, ICA, EIFL and Innovarte". The document will provide the basis for discussion during this exciting meeting. We will post our statements, and other documents, as we deliver them.
