IGF Dynamic Coalition for Public Access in Libraries mailing list established.

Following the approval by the IGF secretariat of the Dynamic Coalition of Public Access in Libraries (DC-PAL), initiated jointly by EIFL and IFLA, as announced in the EIFL news of 28th February, we are pleased to report that the PAL-DC mailing list has been established under the aegis of APC (Association for Progressive Communication).

We invite stakeholders from government, civil society, the private sector, and library colleagues, to join us in this dynamic coalition mailing list, and to get involved with theory and practice of innovative public library services for development.

If you wish to become a member of the Dynamic Coalition mailing list, please subscribe here: http://lists.apc.org/mailman/listinfo/pal-dc.

Members of this list will share experiences of the impact of public access to the Internet in libraries on the lives and livelihoods of communities and individuals; information about related initiatives, case studies and research of public access to the Internet; news regarding activities of the Dynamic Coalition within the IGF global, regional and national events and any other opportunity to provide evidence to decision makers in government, civil society and the business sector of the contribution library services make to development.
