PALICO activities in May in celebration of Jerusalem Capital of Arab Culture 2009

Several activities are being arranged by Birzeit University in celebration of Jerusalem Capital of Arab Culture in 2009. PALICO members from the West Bank (10 universities) will participate in all following activities:

- A Book Fair organised by seven publishers, booksellers and distributors on May 3-5.
- An author workshop by Emerald Publishing on Wednesday May 6 from 12:30 to 2:30 for faculty members, researchers and librarians. A one hour meeting is scheduled with PALICO members at 11:30-12:30, which will be followed by a training on using Emerald databases at 15:00-16:00.
- An Open Access seminar is being co-organised by eIFL.net, PALICO, Birzeit University and Telemark University-Norway on May 25-26 for librarians and IT people. Please see eIFL OA pages for more information on the workshop.
