EIFL has signed a renewal agreement with BioOne for its BioOne Complete database.

BioOne Complete provides access to a full-text database of current scholarly research in the biological, ecological and environmental sciences. The database contains access to over 180 high-impact research journals from 136 not-for-profit society publishers, with over 85,000 full-text articles, and is growing daily.

Lauren Kane, Chief Operating Officer at BioOne, says: "BioOne is delighted to continue our longstanding partnership with EIFL to promote access to BioOne Complete across 33 member countries in Africa, Asia, and Europe.  EIFL’s Licensing Programme is designed to reduce barriers for libraries and users in developing and transition countries, and is thus well-aligned with BioOne’s mission to maximize access to critical scientific research around the world."

The agreement runs until December 2018 and is open to EIFL partner consortia in 33 countries:

Angola, Armenia, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Botswana, Cambodia, Cameroon, Congo, Ethiopia, Georgia, Ghana, Kenya, Kosovo, Laos, Lesotho, Macedonia, Malawi, Mali, Moldova, Mongolia, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Nigeria, Palestine, Senegal, Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, Ukraine, Zambia, Zimbabwe
