Nine journals in the physical and biological sciences, including Philosophical Transactions, the world’s oldest scientific title first published in 1665, can be subscribed libraries in 50 eligible countries. The agreement runs until December 2017.

EIFL has signed a renewal agreement with the Royal Society for their collection of journals.

Royal Society is the world’s oldest scientific academy in continuous existence. It exists to expand the frontiers of knowledge by championing the development and use of science, mathematics, engineering and medicine for the benefit of humanity and the good of the planet.

The Royal Society Journals Collection comprises nine high-impact, peer-reviewed titles in the physical and biological sciences, including Philosophical Transactions, the world’s oldest scientific title, first published in 1665.

The agreement runs from 1 January 2015 until 31 December 2017 and is open to EIFL-partner consortia in 50 countries:
