To all participants in our Support Network

The Southern African Greenstone web pages have a new home at eIFL-FOSS:

                             have a look at: http://www.eifl.net/cps/
sections/services/eifl-foss/greenstone

A word of thanks goes to the Library of the University of Namibia and
to Renate Morgenstern who created and hosted the beginnings of the SA
Greenstone web site.

What you will find:

- what the Support Network does
- how SA Greenstone started as pilot project (here you find the User
Survey many of you answered, reports by your National Support Centres
and the "What will follow next" final report)

- information on Email List (this one) and Archive
- Past Training Events: the workshop programs, your workshop
evaluations (planned Greenstone work!), the pictures (further links
to Flickr and YouTube), additional information: links to workshop
stories in blogs and Newsletters
// a special word for our colleagues trained in the Seychelles
workshop: your training event will still be added! //

What you can expect soon:
- Examples of Greenstone in use: sharing your Greenstone application
with screenshots or web links
- Support Documentation: How To information, workshop Training
Materials and the like

How you can make the SA Greenstone web site the place on the web for
*your* (Southern) African Greenstone digital library and digitisation
projects:
- by referring to the web pages (URL's) in your emails, bulletins,
news flashes and the like
- by contributing with examples of your Greenstone work, extra
documentation you wrote, information on your digitisation project

Enjoy !
