Dear Emmanuel,
Yes it is possible to access the librarian interface remotely.
Please refer (follow the link below) to the notes on running the
Remote Greenstone Librarian Interface (GLI):
http://wiki.greenstone.org/wiki/index.php/2.83_Release_Notes#Working_with_Remote_Greenstone_and_the_GLI-Client
and
http://wiki.greenstone.org/wiki/index.php/Remote_Greenstone
To remove the information on the collection in the "about this
collection", you need to specify your own "about" package that
controls the display of this page. To do this for a particular
collection, paste the following into the collection's extra.dm file,
found in its \macros folder and also accessible from the GLI:
---->Start here
package about
_pagetitle_ {_collectionname_}
_content_ {
_optnavigationbar_
<<YOU CAN PUT YOUR OWN HTML HERE>>
}
---->End here
While the layout for the top part of the page will remain the same in
this example, it will give you an opportunity to remove the unwanted
text and replace it with your own.
For more assistance on how to customise your collections and/or work
with macro files, you may wish to refer to "Customizing the Greenstone
User Interface" by Allison Zhang. Follow the link:
http://www.wrlc.org/dcpc/UserInterface/interface.htm
I hope that'll help you.
Do let us know if you need more assistance.
Regards
Amos
