Subject: Survay about using web 2.0

Dear Andrius,

below is the message from my colleague from the University library of
Belgrade (our active member) who is working on implementation web 2.0
technologies in Libraries. Is there are any possibilities to send this
through EIFL e-mailing list, in order to collect some answers from our
community. This is already sent though LIBER mailing list, and this is the
reason why it starts with "Dear LIBER member" (please change this if you
send it through eIFL list).

Best regards,

Biljana

========================

Dear LIBER member,

My name is Adam Sofronijevic. I am a librarian at the University Library in
Belgrade, Serbia, responsible for digitization and development of new
library services. I am conducting a survey on the usage of Web 2.0
technologies implemented in libraries for professional purposes and the
changes affecting the reading process because of the Web 2.0 technologies
and various reading devices. Your help in filling out the survey on this
topic is much needed. The results will be published in my PhD thesis
entitled 'New Paradigm of Library Collaboration'. I kindly ask you to
forward this note to a person well acquainted with web 2.0 technologies,
e-book readers and collaboration in reading software usage in your library,
so that he/she might fill the survey at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/NPoLCs

The survey will be accessible for responses till December 31st. Survey
results will be forwarded to participating libraries upon publication of my
PhD thesis.

I would also like to pinpoint those libraries that are willing to share
their experiences and knowledge of these topics further with me. I would
like to make a short visit to some of those libraries during 2011 and gather
more data by means of a questionnaire and interviews. Such a visit will not
involve any expenses for your library except a little spare time of some of
your employees. If you would be willing to welcome me please fill in the
contact data in the survey.

I am looking forward to our future collaboration,

Thank you very much in advance,

Best regards,

Adam Sofronijevic
