[EIFLfoss] Details from Monday's EIFL FOSS Disability Tools session

Hi Everyone

Monday's first Themed Week session went quite well - we had 25 attending
altogether and the feedback was pretty good. For those that couldn't attend
but were interested, I attach the presentation slides here, including
hyperlinks to the tools I talked about. If the hyperlinks don't work, please
let me know and I will send the slideshow file.
I also attach a section of the Chat log including the hyperlinks our guest
speaker Steve Lee talked about.

We created for the session a collaborative document which you can all
contribute to, which lists FOSS disability tools of interest to libraries,
plus details of libraries who are known to be using them. It also has space
for questions and will serve as a public space for discussions and
information. No login is required. The URL for the collaborative document is
http://titanpad.com/eifl-foss-disability-tools - PLEASE do add to the list
of tools, and the list of libraries using the tools, and ask any questions
you want to ask. I shall post onto the document any questions I receive
privately (I will anonymise them!) so that everyone can see the question and
the response.

to colleagues or friends that you think might be interested in this topic,
but if you share it please also share the URL for the collaborative document
so that they can contribute. One person who has viewed the session found the
sound was very distorted, but others have found it fine, so I suggest if you
have problems you simply try restarting it or possibly using a different
browser.
