Congratulations, Jan! These are some really exciting developments.
Please keep us posted on the launch of Benthan Science Publishing. If
they will have 200 open access titles, they may become the largest OA
publisher!
Best,
Melissa

Subject: [eifloa] OA news from Poland
Dear all
Jan just shared with me couple of new. For those on this list who do not
know Jan, he is a member of eIFL Advisory Board member and eIFL
coordinator in Poland:
1. Last year there is first Open Access conference in Poznan which was
co-organized by eIFL and hosted by Jan Andzej Nikisch. More on it
available on our web:

This year second Open Access conference will take place in Torun in
December . Jan is on the organizing committee. More is available on this
site and we will be adding to our website as well:

2. Another news from Poland is that two days ago Jan Andzej Nikisch was
invited by Bentham Science Publishers to join Editorial Board of Open
Information Science Journal. They are launching more than 200
peer-reviewed open access journals (!) during this year, under the
banner of "Bentham OPEN". To check the list of journal, please go to:

Subscription based Benthan Science Publishers material are offered by
eIFL through the package agreement signed with AMP.
Best
Rima
