If you are not familiar with AgEcon Search http://ageconsearch.umn.edu/ it
is a free-to-user Web resource with full-text of working papers, conference
papers and journal articles in agricultural, consumer, development, energy,
environmental, resource and other areas of applied economics.
Open access repository AgEcon Search is housed at the University of
Minnesota, and co-sponsored by the Agricultural and Applied Economics
Association (AAEA).
Over 170 institutions from 5 continents contribute their material to AgEcon
Search, and its 34,000+ papers have been downloaded over 1.5 million times
since 2001. Inclusion in AgEcon Search will give your papers added exposure.
Articles will be available and highly ranked in both Google and Google
Scholar, and we are committed to archiving all materials in AgEcon Search.
For example, at last count, the 48 papers from the Humboldt University
Berlin have been downloaded a total of 1490 times. Announcements about new
papers are sent to an e-mail distribution list that reaches 2000+
economists, students, and policy makers.
The process for adding papers is quite easy. It just involves filling out a
short form with the title, authors and abstract, and attaching a PDF version
of the paper. Adding papers is also free of charge, as long as one person
from an organization coordinates the effort.
If you have older material that is in print format, we can work with you to
find a way to digitize it and add it to AgEcon Search.
Please consider contributing material to AgEcon Search. We welcome papers in
a variety of languages.
If you want to get started, or have any questions about AgEcon Search,
please feel free to contact us.
