Service areas for replication - case studies

These eight case studies were prepared by the staff of libraries implementing services and projects that were initiated with EIFL-PLIP support in 2010.

In presenting these case studies, our aim is to help other librarians to understand the service and the library’s experience of implementing the service. We include challenges encountered and overcome; and results – expected and unexpected!

We encourage librarians wanting to replicate one of these services – that is to adapt it to their own library and local community contexts – to read these case studies carefully. If you have any questions, contact EIFL-PLIP Programme Manager, Ramune Petuchovaite, ramune.petuchovaite [at] eifl.net, or you can contact the relevant library directly.

Note: These eight services began in May 2010, and the case studies were written after only 10 months’ implementation.
