eifloa -- eIFL - Open Access program announcement and discussion list (private)

This is an announcement list for the eIFL-OA program. eIFL-OA assists members to develop capacity on key issues related to Open Access and builds upon the work of the Open Society Institute, which launched the Budapest Open Access Initiative in 2002. The overall aim is to enabling them to benefit from the content which is made freely available through Open Access, as well as ensuring that the local content produced within their countries is widely distributed. This is accomplished through the development of Open Access repositories and by encouraging authors within the countries to publish their articles in Open Access journals. Using eifloa
To post a message to all the list members, send email to eifloa@lists.eifl.net. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to eifloa
Subscribe to eifloa by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. (Note that this is an umbrella list, intended to have only other mailing lists as members. Among other things, this means that your confirmation request will be sent to the `-owner' account for your address.) Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
