Dear All,

Just a quick note on a petition from our friends at the Open Knowledge
Foundation.

The Library of Congress is asking for comments on their proposal for
the future of bibliographic records. Numerous librarians and others
would like to ask them to include a section supporting open data --
providing bibliographic records in such a way that they can be reused
by projects like Open Library and others.
