DONATE TO EIFL
In this issue, we share with you how EIFL is responding to the COVID-19 pandemic by supporting universities, libraries and researchers. We also checked in with our public library partners, and were impressed by the many ways in which they are serving locked down communities. COVID-19 and climate change present challenges for copyright and we share two calls on WIPO to take action. There’s good news from Serbia, which has joined the Marrakesh Treaty, and for Myanmar, where a new copyright law supports key library activities. We’ve been working hard to negotiate with publishers for free or discounted Article Processing Charges (APCs) for researchers from EIFL partner countries - and we’re delighted to bring you news about five new agreements. Enjoy the issue - and stay safe!
