EIFL has been working in the Maldives since 2011. We are supporting the creation of the Maldives Library Consortium. Through this partnership, libraries in Maldives are able to provide access to a wide range of scholarly e-resources. EIFL agreements with publishers also allow authors in the Maldives to publish in open access in hybrid or fully open access journals at waived or discounted Article Processing Charges (APCs).
