HeinOnline is Hein’s premier online research product with more than 239 million pages of legal history available in an online, fully-searchable, image-based format. HeinOnline bridges the gap in legal history by providing researchers with access to both historical and current material never previously available online.
The HeinOnline Core Package for EIFL contains the constitutional histories for 170+ countries, a large collection of books and monographs on legal history, a basic overview of major United States Supreme Court cases as well as the laws of the United States, publications focused on Law of the Sea, International Arbitration, Hague Conferences and Conventions and more. It includes the following:

EIFL members can also choose to subscribe to the Law Journal Library, together with the HeinOnline Core Package for EIFL. The Law Journal Library contains 3,400 law and law-related periodicals covering more than 90 subject areas which are published in sixty different countries. Coverage is from the first issue published to the most recently published issues as allowed by contracts with publishers. Search is by article title, author, subject, state or country, published, full text, and narrowed by date.
Additionally, the Index to Foreign Legal Periodicals (IFLP) is available as a stand -lone resource. This is a multilingual index to articles and book reviews covering both public and private international law and comparative and foreign law, and the law of most jurisdictions in 30 languages. IFLP covers more than 800 legal journals published worldwide and includes more than 400,000 index records. The IFLP also analyzes the contents of about fifty individually published collections of legal essays, Festschriften, Mélanges, and congress reports each year.
For institutions in Myanmar and Laos, EIFL has licensed the HeinOnline Academic Core Collection, which includes these databases.
