Editors and publishers, researchers, librarians and tool builders - join us in this LIBSENSE online meeting to discuss ‘Co-designing collaborative free and open source open access publishing infrastructures’ in Africa.

This is the second in a series of four online meetings on the topic, organized by the West and Central African Research and Education Network (WACREN), EIFL and the Coko Foundation.

The meeting will focus on identifying requirements and areas for collaboration on shared free and open source open access publishing infrastructure.

The third and fourth meetings will take place in August and September (dates to be confirmed), and will discuss -

  • Designing training and support programmes and
  • Framing the Coalition for Open Access Publishing Infrastructures in Africa: tools, training, hosting, and advice.

The first meeting, about needs and tools for open access scholarly publishing, took place on 24 June. Click here for further information about this series of online discussions, and to see notes and a recording of the first meeting.
