Efficient editorial workflows are crucial for maintaining quality and timely publication. Join this EIFL webinar with Milica Ševkušić of the EIFL Open Access Programme and explore ways to optimize daily editorial workflows from manuscript submission, through editorial review, selection of reviewers, peer review, production, publication and post-publication discussions. Special attention will be paid to the realities of volunteer-led and institutionally supported journals, as well as to common areas for improvement in journal transparency, discoverability, accessibility, interoperability and compliance with good publishing practices, and to approaches for systematically assessing journals against these requirements. This session builds on the EIFL Guide on Editorial Workflows in Diamond Open Access Journals, but will also be useful to the editors of all types of journals.
