Iryna Kuchma, EIFL Open Access Programme Manager, will lead training in this two-day interactive workshop on open science for representatives of national research and education networks (NRENs) in six Eastern European countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.
Kuchma will present and demonstrate the uses of OpenAIRE project services and tools for researchers, research content providers and research administrators. The workshop will deepen participants’ understanding of open science, and share ideas about now NRENs can advance open science practices in their countries.
The six countries are all members of the Eastern Partnership (EaP), an initiative to strengthen relations between the European Union (EU), its member states and the six EaP countries. The EaPConnect project aims to interconnect the research and education communities across the Eastern Partnership countries with their counterparts in Europe.
