EIFL Open Access Programme Coordinator Gwen Franck will co-facilitate the workshop on OpenAIRE services and tools for Open Research Data in H2020.

The workshop aims to bring participants up to speed with the latest requirements of the Horizon 2020 Open Research Data initiative, to present OpenAIRE’s set of tools and services relevant to research data management tasks, and to discuss future directions.

More particularly, the workshop will focus on practical issues of storage and data sharing aspects, on how to select an appropriate data repository, on guidance for efficient data management plans, on the monitoring of contextualized (linked) research.

The workshop is a part of the the 12th International Digital Curation Conference (IDCC17) that takes place from 20-23 February 2017 at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. The conference brings together digital curation professionals and educators with data producers and consumers to consider digital curation in a multi-disciplinary context.

OpenAIRE helps to implement (openaire.eu/open-access-in-horizon-2020) the Horizon 2020 Open Access policy for publications, and is one of the key European infrastructures supporting the Horizon2020 Open Research Data Pilot. EIFL is one of 50 partners in the OpenAIRE project.
