Teresa Hackett, EIFL Copyright and Libraries Programme Manager, will participate in a two-day programme organized by American University Washington College of Law on the Right to Research in International Copyright Law.

April 21: The 2022 Annual Meeting of the Global Expert Network on Copyright User Rights. The Annual Meeting is co-sponsored by PIJIP (the Programme on Information Justice and Intellectual Property), the American University International Law Review, the University of Amsterdam Institute for Information Law, and the Arcadia Project on the Right to Research in International Copyright. EIFL will review research papers at the private works-in-progress workshops.

On April 22: International Law Review Symposium on the Right to Research in International Copyright Law. The Symposium will feature presentations of scholarship by leading academics on the theme of how international copyright law should protect rights and freedoms to produce and access research materials. It will end with a lively discussion moderated by South African television producer Ben Cashdan.
