EIFL Open Access Programme Coordinator Gwen Franck will give a presentation on open licensing and Creative Commons at a seminar to be held at the University of Latvia Centre for Humanities and Social Sciences
Franck’s presentation is titled ‘Open Licence for Creative Commons - Open Science, Business and Society’, and will explain the practical application of Creative Commons licences in science and open business models, introduce the types of licences, and demonstrate best practices in the use of open licences.
The seminar, on Creative Commons Licences, is organized by the University of Latvia Library and the National Open Access Service. It is open to the staff of Latvian universities and research institutes, researchers, doctoral students, entrepreneurs (especially in the field of design), information specialists and library staff.
