We’re inviting African open access journal editors and publishers to join this webinar to learn more about best practices and standards for open access journals.

Ina Smith (ASSAf - Academy of Science South Africa) and Thomas Mboa (University of Yaoundé II) will talk about Open Access and Archiving policies, DOIs, ORCIDs and other persistent identities, how the journal could comply with I4OC (Initiative for Open Citations) standards for open citations, and other best practices. The first part of the webinar will be in English and we will switch to French for the second part.  

This is the fourth in a series of seven webinars for journal editors and publishers in Africa organized by AJOL (African Journals Online, ASSAf, DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals), EIFL, LIBSENSE and UCT (University of Cape Town) on Thursdays at 10:00 GMT from 10 February to 24 March. The webinars are being held in English and French.
