On December 2-3, 2014 PASTEUR4OA will host a Europe-wide project meeting of national experts, ‘Working Together to Promote Open Access Policy Alignment in Europe’, in London, United Kingdom.

The meeting will bring together PASTEUR4OA project partners and expert organisations from 28 EU Member States (MS) and 10 adjacent states to facilitate the development of supportive and productive relationships between experts. This meeting will build on the experience of MS in developing and implementing national open access (OA) policies, promote discussions around the advancement of aligned policies that ensure OA to publicly-funded research outputs and facilitate coordination at the MS level. At the meeting, the role of the Knowledge Net and Key Node organizations will also be discussed and the ways in which they can contribute to the alignment of open access policies in the EU and adjacent states.

EIFL-OA Programme Manager Iryna Kuchma and EIFL-OA Programme Coordinator Gwen Franck will attend and will facilitate the discussions.
