EIFL has renewed an agreement with Taylor & Francis that guarantees no - or highly reduced - Article Processing Charges (APCs) for authors from EIFL partner countries who publish in a Taylor & Francis open access journal.
The renewed agreement runs until 2020, and the offer is available to authors publishing in any of over 170 Taylor & Francis open access and Cogent Open Access journals.
To take advantage of the offer, authors should state their affiliation with EIFL when submitting their paper to a particular journal. During the online submission authors should select, ‘I have another waiver to request or a discount code’, and enter the code 'EIFL'. (This should be done on the first submission of an article; the system will not give this option if authors are resubmitting a revision.) Authors should use their institutional email addresses in correspondence with the journal and confirm the main institution they are affiliated with for authentication. Once the paper has been accepted for publication, the waiver or discount on the APC will be applied.
The agreement benefits authors from 37 EIFL partner countries:
Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Botswana, Cambodia, Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Estonia, Ethiopia, Fiji, Georgia, Ghana, Kenya, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Latvia, Lesotho, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malawi, Maldives, Moldova, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Palestine, Senegal, Serbia, Tanzania, Thailand, Uganda, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Zambia, Zimbabwe
