This one-page guide introduces three EIFL resources that are part of a toolkit created to help journal editors, publishers, managers and support teams assess their journals, identify areas for improvement and implement good publishing practices.

The toolkit includes:

• Quality in Diamond Open Access Publishing: guidelines, policies and templates (Version 2) provides comprehensive recommendations, policy templates and technical guidance to help journals establish and maintain good publishing practices.
• Auditing Framework for Diamond Open Access Journals provides a structured approach to assessing journal practices, documenting evidence, identifying gaps and planning improvements.
• Let's Do It Right: Fixing Common Issues in Diamond Open Access Journals provides practical guidance for identifying and resolving frequently observed problems.

The toolkit was developed as part of the Collaboration for Sustainable Open Access Publishing in Africa project, funded by the Wellcome Trust (grant number 228148/Z/23/Z), with input from the No-Fee Open Access Publishing in Africa Community of Practice.
