The Statement of Principles on Copyright Exceptions and Limitations for Libraries, developed by EIFL, the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA), and the Library Copyright Alliance (LCA), sets out the core principles on copyright required by libraries today, and urges governments to take action to address the gaps in copyright provisions for libraries in recognition of the realities of the digital environment.
