Public librarians who have completed training-of-trainers programmes organized by the EIFL Public Library Innovation Programme (EIFL-PLIP) team and partners in Ghana, Kenya, Namibia, Uganda and Zambia are invited to attend this informal knowledge-sharing event, the final T-break for 2025.
Over the last couple of years, the EIFL-PLIP team has developed a series of short videos for public librarians on developing and implementing public library projects and on providing ICT training in communities. In this T-break, we will discuss public library project development, and show two new videos, on writing a narrative report for project donors and reporting on project outcomes.
Ramune Petuchovaite and Ugne Lipeikaite of EIFL-PLIP will present the video series. There will be time for feedback, sharing good practice, and questions.
The aim of the T-breaks is to refresh trainers' knowledge, share practical experience and build a local and cross-border support network of public library trainers. Since 2017, EIFL has trained 62 public librarians in Ghana, Kenya, Namibia, Uganda and Zambia to become trainers.
