Teresa Hackett, EIFL Copyright and Libraries Programme Manager, will join IFLA (the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions) and AfLIA (the African Library & Information Associations and Institutions) in a webinar to deepen the engagement of librarians in Africa in work at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). The regional event is a follow-on to ‘Getting started with WIPO’ that introduced library professionals to the world of WIPO.

Date and time: Thursday, 1 April 2021 at 15.00 CEST.

The webinar is open to IFLA members and EIFL coordinators. To register, contact Camille Françoise, IFLA Policy and Research Officer at camille.francoise@ifla.org or Teresa Hackett, EIFL Copyright and Libraries Programme Manager at teresa.hackett@eifl.net

The webinar is an interactive event to share information and support librarians who wish to advance copyright discussions for the benefit of libraries, research and education at the local, national and international levels.
