EIFL signs new agreement with OpenAthens
Agreement provides discounted access to OpenAthens Lite for scholars in 37 EIFL partner countries

EIFL has signed a new agreement with OpenAthens for discounted subscription rates for OpenAthens Lite. OpenAthens is an identity and access management solution that provides remote access to e-resources for users through single-sign on. OpenAthens Lite is a simpler version of the standard OpenAthens.

The agreement between EIFL and OpenAthens runs until December 2023 and is open to libraries in 37 EIFL partner countries:

Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Botswana, Congo (Democratic Republic), Côte d'Ivoire, Estonia, Ethiopia, Fiji, Georgia, Ghana, Kenya, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Latvia, Lesotho, Lithuania, Malawi, Maldives, Moldova, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, North Macedonia, Palestine, Senegal, Serbia, Slovenia, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Zambia, Zimbabwe
