E-learning course and webinar: Are you working in a research funding organization, following Open Access and Open Research Data policy discussions, but feel overwhelmed with lots of new developments? 

The FOSTER/PASTEUR4OA intermediate moderated e-learning course ‘Designing Successful Open Access and Open Data Policies’ from 16 - 27 May can help you. 

On the last day of the e-learning course, 27 May, at 11:00 CEST, EIFL will host a webinar on topics addressed during the course.

What the course and webinar will cover

Participants in the moderated e-learning course will learn about:

  • the advantages of Open Access and Open Research Data for the funder’s remit;
  • the requirements of Horizon 2020 regarding Open Access and OpenResearch Data;
  • what elements make a successful Open Access policy; and how to develop an effective Open Research Data policy.

If you are new to these topics

Research funders who are new to Open Access and Open Research Data could also join the FOSTER/PASTEUR4OA introductory self-learning course for funders, Designing Successful Open Access and Open Data Policies. The self-learning course cover the same topics, at an introductory level:

  • the advantages of Open Access and Open Research Data for the funder’s remit;
  • the requirements of Horizon 2020 regarding Open Access and Open Research Data;
  • what elements make a successful Open Access policy; and how to develop an effective Open Research Data policy.
